On February 10, four Indian astronaut-elects began training for the Gaganyaan mission at Russia’s Gagarin Research & Test Cosmonaut Training Center. This is part of Isro’s agreement with Glavkosmos, a subsidiary of Roscosmos (Russia’s space agency). In his first interview since the agreement, Glavkosmos Director General Dmitry Loskutov spoke to STOI on Gaganyaan and recollected when Rakesh Sharma had said ‘Saare Jahan se Accha’ from space.
