The BJP has distanced itself from the controversial remark made by senior party leader and Karnataka rural development minister KS Eshwarappa over not giving ticket for election to any Muslim candidate. The BJP has sought to distance itself from Eshwarappa’s comment which has triggered a controversy. No party leader has come to his defence.
