Lockdown saved over 1 lakh lives, shielded 37L from Covid: Survey

The government’s policy moves, including the lockdown, saved over one lakh lives, while shielding nearly 37 lakh from contracting the highly contagious coronavirus, and also helped the economy recover, the Economic Survey said.
