PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday hailed BJP’s “phenomenal” victory in the Gujarat civic polls as “special” as the party had won overwhelmingly despite being in office for more than two decades in the state. The PM led party seniors, including home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh and party chief J P Nadda, in celebrating the victory.
