India records under 3,000 Covid-19 daily deaths, lowest in 34 days; 1.27 lakh new cases

India on Tuesday recorded less than 3,000 new Covid-19 deaths for the first time in 34 days. The daily case count also continued the downward trend to 1.27 lakh new cases in a day. With 2,795 Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, India's death toll now stands at 3,31,895. Meanwhile, 1,27,510 new Covid-19 cases took the national caseload to 2,81,75,044, as per Union health ministry.
