The Congress top brass, including chief ministers and members of Parliament, hit the streets on Monday in protest against the Enforcement Directorate’s summons to Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case, calling it a “reign of dictatorship” in India. The dramatic scenes, in which the Delhi Police squa- red off with Congress leaders, saw former Union minister P Chidambaram and Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari claiming that they walked away with broken spectacles and suspected fractured ribs.
