Independence Day greetings from space

India was greeted on Saturday on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of its independence from an unusual quarter — space. Speaking from the International Space Station at an altitude of 408km above the earth and zooming at a speed of 28,000kmph, 45-year-old Samantha Cristoforetti, an astronaut of the European Space Agency (ESA), said: “Greetings from the International Space Station.’’
