Shukla, an IPS officer of the 1988 batch, is currently posted as additional director general of Central Reserve Police Force in Hyderabad. She is the most senior IPS officer in the state after DG Hemant Nagrale, who is retiring on October 31. She is senior to IPS officer Rajnish Seth, the state DGP.
