Uttarakhand avalanche tragedy: 12 bodies found, toll now 16

Multi-agency search and rescue teams -- including a 14-member team from the Army’s High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) at Gulmarg -- on Thursday reached Draupadi ka Danda in Uttarkashi, the site of the avalanche that had hit a group of 61 trainees and instructors of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM).
