Succession? Supriya Sule, Praful Patel NCP working presidents

NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday appointed trusted lieutenant Praful Patel and daughter Supriya Sule as working presidents of the party, roles created just to accommodate them, in what was seen as an end to the suspense over who succeeds him. The move, however, deepened the uncertainty about the fate of the ambition of his nephew Ajit Pawar, who has long coveted the leadership of the party.
