NFIW seeks Amit Shah’s intervention in handling decaying bodies in Manipur mortuaries

From demanding that a medical board be constituted with immediate effect to carry out post-mortems to adequate cold storage facilities and ensuring safe passage for families of deceased persons to claim the bodies, NFIW highlights the need to “provide a dignified resting place for the deceased, allowing their families to mourn and perform the last rites with the respect and solemnity they deserve.”
