The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the monsoon may begin its withdrawal within the next 24 hours. At the same time, a new cyclonic circulation is expected to form over the north Andaman Sea and its surroundings on September 29. This new system could bring more rainfall along the eastern coasts towards the end of September and early October. The IMD also forecasts heavy rainfall in certain regions, including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim.
