Pilibhit district, which only has 42% of the assigned number of health and wellness centers (HCWs), will soon get new centres under the 'National Health Mission'.Meanwhile, a refresher course has been launched for the community health officers (CHOs) posted at the 169 centres operating in the district.Pilibhit Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Alok Kumar said that the central government had decided each health and wellness centre would serve a population of 5,000 people.
