Trouble grows for Muizzu govt in the Maldives, opposition parties band together to slam his 'anti-India' pivot

Two major opposition parties, the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) and The Democrats, criticize President Mohammad Muizzu's 'anti-India' pivot, calling it 'extremely detrimental' to long-term development. The parties argue that alienating India, the country's long-standing ally, will jeopardize stability and progress. Muizzu came to power in November based on his 'India Out' campaign.
