Senior IPS officer Rajeev Krishna has been appointed as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh, succeeding Prashant Kumar, who is retiring. Krishna, a 1991-batch officer currently serving as DG of Vigilance, will now lead the Uttar Pradesh Police.
