Zeenat Aman was not the first choice for 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna'

Dev Anand's iconic film 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' almost starred Zaheeda, who withdrew due to discomfort playing his sister. Initially, S.D. Burman strongly objected to the film's controversial original plot but later suggested his son, R.D. Burman, for the music. The film also faced challenges filming at Nepal's Pashupatinath Temple, requiring special permission for non-Hindu artistes.
